do i have enough to run my sound card?

im working off my crap computer right now, but my 430 watt power supply just died and i had to swap it out for my 230 watt one, i want to know if it would be ok to put in my Sound Audigy ZS 2 i had it in with the 430 but i took it out because i didnt know if i would have enough power to run it and i didnt want to damage it.

my system

AMD Athlon XP 1800+
Mobo some POS i dont even know
480 MB of Ram
Maxtor 28 gb hdd
2 disc drives one a cd burner
on bourd graphics

Your PSU will Run that system with a Audigy 2.

I doubt that you will hurt it but power supplies are dirt cheap why not purchase one?

I really doubt that the sound card will draw off much power.Your not using a graphics card or anything else that's particulairly power consuming. I'd say you'd be just fine.....

That would be pretty weird though if someday they made a soundcard that required a molex plug in!

i just dont have the money right now i spent it all on my FX-57, XMS Ram, P180 and big typhoon lol
