OC problem with a A8N-SLI

Hi,

I'm trying to overclock my 3000+ but i can't and did not understand, i have read this http://www.overclock.net/faqs/38169-...roduction.html but nothing.... when i boot he stop after the verification of my ide drive.

My configuration is a asus a8n-sli, amd 64 3000+, 1 gig kingston hyperX ddr400, Zalman 7700 cooling, evga 7600 oc GT.

Any idea?

Please get your system specs in user cp.
Also list what you all did.
Like htt 3 x9 =2700mhz with 1.39 volt

CPU Freq : 225/250/300 (FSB)
CPU Multi : x9
CPU voltage: 1.525v

Have you found the max clock of all your components already? cpu, ram, mobo?
Or are you trying to find that now?

I'm trying to find.... i try, try and try but my system stop booting after bios ide drive check. I dont know if the problem is my ram, cpu etc... i never OC before

Set everything to auto for ram and HT. Only play with your cpu variables first. Set your cpu multi to max, set volt to auto (until it won't boot), keep pushing the HTT up until it won't boot, or is unstable, then up the volts a step at a time. That way you can find your cpu max. You need to find the max of everthing one at a time first. In fact, you should really find the mobo max HTT first.

Hi, i have try and it'working good when i setup my CPU Freq : 300 (FSB), CPU Multi : x9

Also he saw my ram at 266 when all is auto, i try 333 or 400 but is not working.
