Hi there, I need a Heatsink Fan for my chip, its a skt 939 opteron 144. Since You guys are into cooling and no alot about the subject, Could anybody recommend a good heatsink fan for my first time build.

Thermaltake Big Typhoon hands down. That or the XP 120 heatsink. The latter is a bit smaller and easier to install than the big typhoon, but the big typhoon dominates the competition.

I have a freezer64 pro by arctic cooling. Quiet, reliable and pretty cold.

Yup the TT big typhoon pretty much dominates in the air cooling department. It even out performs some water cooling kits that cost 3 times as much.
