Component cable not working

Thread Starter
My old Xbox died due to abuse ( ) so I picked up a used one. However, the component cable I got for my old Xbox is not working with the new one. The audio works fine, but I get no video. The composit cable that came with the Xbox works fine however. Any tips would be great!

Hmm, sounds like there may be some damage to the new one's video port? Either that or the cable itself was damaged somehow.

If there was damage to the port, why would the composit cable still work thought? I will check the cable some time when I am at my friends house with his Xbox.
