im gettin a DFI nF4-DAGF Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard, XFX PV-T43G-UDL6 Geforce 6600GT 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card, and a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 200MHz HT Socket 939 Processor and im wonderin what kind of ram i should get? 512MB or 1G?

If you mean should you get 2 x 512 or 1 x 1 GB, you should get 1 x 1 gb.

2X512 will perform better in your system because mainly you will be gettign dual channel and it will be able to run tighter timmings.

id go with 2x1gb lol...
but yea, definitely get dual channel unless you plan on upgrading it to 2gb from 1gb soon... because dual channel is basically twice as fast.

If your on a tight budget I'd wait for AM2.

When AM2 comes out in May all s939 stuff will come down in price. (or so people say)
