Now, I just played a tier 8 match on my T-34-85 and the exact same thing happened, the entire team ran down to the valley and got stuck there while half the enemy team came around the other way. How can people still be making the same mistakes at tier 8 as they did at 3-5? rolleyes.gif

I don't feel I'm an expert or anything at WoT but I'm always amazed at just how bad teams can get at times. Something that really bothers the hell out of me is when people start *****ing about how to play a specific tank by generalizing it to its class type. I feel that's a critical mistake I see a lot, a good example is the t34 prem it works best as td in most of its matches( In-fact I think it should be changed to a td premium) while the su 12244 I have with virtually 3 fully trained skills(driver has clutch braking and off road whatever and 2 fully trained camo skills) I can play it like a medium or even hard pusher if I'm top tier, hell I can literally run right up to a tank and still not be spotted and nothing can outrun my turn rate lol. Tank is excellent though.

Bought my SU-76 back at Tier III. Forgot how much fun that TD is against Tier 3 or 4 opponents. I almost feel bad getting thrown into tier 2/3 games with this thing as it is a wrecking ball with a good scout.

Any word on how long until my KV-1S gets punched in the mouth with the new update?

Not sure on the next update but there's alot of rumors stirring about the havok engine and HD graphics and textures. Honestly, if the optimization isn't improved then I dunno how much father they can push the engine...

I got this T-25 a few days ago for $5. The thing has already paid for itsself. Had 76matches in it so far and I've earned about 1.7mill credits with it... I'm averaging around 15k credit per game... If I do 1k+ DMG were taking over 20k DMG per game. I think I've had 1 game in the 30k credit range even after repairs. Its definitely the tank I need to earn credits! I'm trying to farm as much as I can in time to get my is4 before the 15% off sale ends... I've got till the 16th to earn another 2million credits...where. I'm at around 225000credits per day right now. I might need to sell a tank or 2 to get it before the sale ends. I don't want to sell my st-i either...

My Type 64 is going well, and also isn't. The teams I get always seem to suck...

Regarding whether to sell or keep the ST-I for the IS4. I don't have either tank, but I found myself at a similar situation/conundrum with my E-75 (pre-nerf) to E-100. I loved the E-75 and before the nerf it was regarded as possibly the best Tier 9 heavy. I eventually did sell it to buy the E-100 though and I do like my E100 overall. Do I regret selling it? Not that much seeing as the 75 sadly got hit with the nerf bat via removing the 1200HP engine. I do think the IS4 is a clear upgrade over the ST-I though, much faster, more mobile, and turret sides aren't massive glaring weakspots, also should have better turret traverse with equal thickness/sloping of frontal armor. But for their respective tiers, it's a toss up from what I've seen. IS-4 isn't popular compared to IS-7, but it's an OK heavy. ST-I has it's slowness but it's very well armored.

As for premium tanks, I am glad I didn't rage-sell my JT88. I was so frustrated a couple months ago where I was getting loss after loss in a row for several days whenever I played that tank that I was actually NOT making credits (either dying very early on, or getting stuck in Tier 9 matches where I had to use APCR ammo in hopes of penetrating some tanks) or RNG was trolling my 0.31 accuracy gun by missing targets that were carefully aimed. But those times have passed and I do make profit off it obviously since it's one of the best credit earners around if one plays competently. Though I find at times I can play much better games on the SU-122-44 and earn much more, though on the flipside, I find myself playing games where I flat out suck or die early on the 122-44 just as often.

I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet. I probably won't have enough credits for the is4 before the sale ends. I've got 3.1mil credits right now so it's going to be close. I average about 250,000 credits /day. I don't really want to sell any tanks since I'll be likely grinding them up after I get the is4. My next line is the waffle tractors in the German TD line. I'm debating how I want to swap crews on my st-i to the is4 and swap my equipment to it, then I'll take some leftover USSR crew and fill my st-i and grind them back up to 100% which shouldn't be too terribly hard since the tank is fully upgraded...

I played with an is4 last night and he did really well except when he pushed up all alone and got owned from behind. Needless to say I stuck with him and cleaned house after he was done. I think with the additional armor on the hull and turret along with the added ROF and mobility the is4 will be quite the upgrade from the st-i which can hold itself in a tier X match already...
I'm not looking forward to the repair bills of tier X, not sure why WG wants to cripple tier x so much but I heard the is4 is quite generous with repairs. The worst tanks I've got for repairs are the t-54 and AT15, even doing 3k DMG and a win I barely break even...

My favorite and most fun tank I have has to definitely be the isu152 with the bl10. Oil that thing owns anything! Sniping with it is nuts! If I have good cover and I hold back and don't get swarmed, I can totally carry a match...
