So it looks like in 9.4 SLI and CPU optimization is a hell of alot better, I'm averaging 80-110FPS on maps that were only giving me 50-60 with SLI enabled.

Good stuff, hopefully, crossfire will be working soon as well

If I had crossfire I could report on that but my friend has a single R9 280 and he went from averaging 25-30FPS on all maps to around 45-50FPS all maps max 1080p
post #2966 of 6617
How can you have so low FPS on 1080p with something like R9 280?
Considering I average 70+ propably on any map at 1440p with 660 Ti.

Lower some settings perhaps? Who plays this on max anyway, so much disturbing crap enabled that hinders your gameplay.

Run it on a stock clocked 8320 or similar and you'll see how pretty easily. Hell, I'm still CPU limited with my 4690k at 4.8ghz, I get no difference in FPS between my Titan and R9 270.

He is running a stock clocked 8350 and his R9 280 is at stock speeds also. He is nervous about letting me crack into the untapped potential that his 8350 and R9 280 has under water.

lol, called it. I was able to get around 55-70fps on standard graphics (not improved) with an FX 9590, the single thread performance this game wants is just not available in the FX chips. Its a shame too, as so many people have them. Turning shadows to OFF will net him a big gain in FPS.
