Who cares what quickbaby says anyways. He is severely delusional speaking about "pay2win", when he himself use premium ammo and premium consumables to a large extent. I would wish that credit drain would be something else than gold ammo but this implementation of emblems in the current format is bad since it limits the visual customization too much. I have around 170-180 mil credits, I can afford all I want but it is annoying and time consuming to re-apply emblems and stuff every month. I could pay gold though but I dont want to since I dont know what changes WG will make, and it is clear we wont get any refund either.

I'm debating on unlocking the Tiger, or keep grinding towards the jagdpanther II. Finally started earning more money with my jagdpanther, but I want that King Tiger.
If you want the king tiger then go for it. It is actually a good tank that can do everything according to myself, such as trade, brawl, flank and even snipe. I think it can do most things effective and it doesnt really have any annoying weaknesses appart from the "apparent" ones such as lower plate, turret top and turret front, albeit the turrent front is good at range since it is small and gun mantled thick and big. Out of all the tanks I have I think the tiger II gives most consistent result and fulfill everything I want to do and I compare it with the vk45a, panther II, and caernarvon. Out of these I think the king tiger has most carrying potential since it has the armor as well as the excellent firepower.

Some people say the tiger II is bad because they rush in and expect to bounce shots, that wont happen unless you put yourself in situation where enemies dont have the ability to aim carefully. You can rely on your armor to bounce a few lazy aimed shots I think. On the caernarvon for example the situation is worse, since the overall armor is worse as well as the turret that will get penned in the gun mantlet by a huge amount of snapshots by low pen guns and that is annoying. I only think tier 8 heavy armor are bounce proof, because if enemies aim your weakspots it really doesnt matter what tank you have, you will get penned.

If you expect is3 gameplay or is6 gameplay then tiger II is not for you since you wont bounce as many shots even by low pen guns. The is6 and is3 can be a pain for 200mm AP pen guns, the tiger II is nothing for 200mm AP pen guns since it has no spaced armor and boxy shape as well as a 150 is effective lower plate. Positioning is very important I think for the tiger II since it is not as noob friendly in terms of armor as the is3 and is6. Of course is6 and is3 will get penned by 200mm AP guns, but enemy need to aim more carefully specialy if they engage these frontaly or if slightly angled. Reason is is3 and is6 has many angles not to mention extra track links on the upper plate on is3.

I love the tiger II, I can pen everything with standard AP at all ranges and I can also expect to bounce less well aimed shots from lower tiers, similar tiers and even higher tiers if im lucky or well positioned. What more can I expect hehe smile.gif. Some people say the tiger II is a sniper, well it can snipe but it is waste of time staying so far back. I look at it as a second line support in higher tiers and definatley a front line tenk being top tier.

So many times I see tiger II players staying too far back not moving up with the team, just to be left alone and then killed on the camping spot. This is stupid since many times they cant even hide the big boxy object and staying still long enough even at range will get you penned eventualy.

Some people say the E75 is a beast and it might be so due to the good armor for the tier, but it also has a lower plate that will get penned by the guns it face, not to mention the slow reload, long aim time and mediocre accuracy. I really think tiger II is a better support tank since it has much better rate of fire and also good dmg (320). You can be active in the fight, waiting less on aiming and reloading and that is what I like.

I probably have to get 8-9k dmg for mastery badge in this tank...the xp was surprisingly low with this battle...I thought it was good...guess not
post #5435 of 6618
I think you get alot of XP by spotting as well as making assistance dmg such as tracking. I have gotten many ace tankers with reasonably low damage, but high assistance dmg. Also keep in mind, since you are tier 10 you always shoot equal or lower tiers so you get less XP than say a tier 8 or 9 that shoots higher tiers and do well.

You don't get nearly as much experience for spotting as you do for direct damage. I achieved 5,000 spotting damage in my M41 WB in a tier ten match a few days back and my base experience was a mere 750. I got out-scored by someone who did a mere 1,700 damage and no spotting.

I said spotting and tracking.
