Hmmm... funny you should bring this up.

With the new fermi GPU WUs coming online, I found my GTX 470 OC wasnt as stable as I thought.

I tested with furmark and it sailed along nicely but the GPU crashed out as soon as I started folding again.

I found that OCCT (GPU) was excellent at finding errors. Had it sorted in no time. Unfortunately, an OC for gaming doesnt need to be as robust as it does for folding.

Give OCCT a fly.

OCCT finds the most errors. So it's the best.

FurMark and Kombustor are very similar, however. There's actually more similarities than differences, so i'm sure it wouldn't matter which you choose. You can switch to Kombustor when you get tired of the radioactive doughnut which is apparently growing hair. Or the other way around.

There's also TessMark for OpenGL 4 tessellation stress testing and FluidMark for PhysX stress testing. Both of these are made by the FurMark/Kombustor guys at Geeks3D.

I'd have to disagree, most graphics cards have a way of detecting unusually high load. And it holds back on the GPU when this occurs.
