The difference between oem and retail is that, retail comes in a box with hsf, oem doesnt come in a box and has no included hsf

i am not an extreeme overclocker. i just want to get around 2.4ghz with some cheap cooling (10*240) and some cheap ram. i will have to run a divider on the ram probably

3200 all the way. And it is just 5$ more expensive than the 3000+. Give me your adress and I'll send you the 5 buck if the 3200 is not in your budget

The difference between retail and OEM CPU is that OEM does not come with a box, manuals or HS, and the most important is that OEM does NOT come with a warranty either. Whereas a retail CPU will come w/ a 3 year warranty. Personally, I only stick to retail CPUs, but the choice is yours!

There is a volt mod for the AsRock Dual SATA that will allow you to take your OC alot higher....I would say definitely go for the 3200.
