Which should i use? AMD Athlon XP 2400+ T-Bred or XP 3200+ Barton?? The T-bred is overclockable its stock at 2.0ghz, but i can overclock it to run stabily at 2.2 or 2.3 ghz, but after that it wont work right. i also have the xp 3200+ barton, but its not overclockable, must be locked...it runs at 2.2ghz stock. my question is should i use the overclocked 2400+ 2.2ghz, or the stock 3200+ at 2.2 ghz to use? which is better or are they about the same?? someone help, plus if anyone wants one of them, im prolly looking to get rid of one too..thanks

Use the 3200+ Barton! It has a bigger Cache (512K) and the Barton-Core is better for Gaming! Some People said the Barton-Core is at same Frequence
~5% faster then the T-Bred-Core! But I don´t Know this!

My Sempron is T-Bred and he is at 2214MHz (233 x 9.5) faster then a stock Barton 3200+!

T-bred is at best a 333 fsb chip. The Barton 3200 is a 400 fsb chip. So its already better. There is about a 5% gain with the Barton over the T-bred clock for clock. Plus twice the L2 cache. So the Barton gets my vote.

Here's a FAQ on how to unlock your Barton core. Might give that a try.
