Need help OCing Celeron 1.7 GHz

Thread Starter
Hi, Ive been reading through the forums about overclocking and i couldnt find anything that can help me in my situation. I read through all the stickies and used the search option but no luck.

So i need some of your expertises.

I have a Sony Vaio pcv rx730 desktop.
Intel Celeron 1.7ghz
768mb ddr sdram
9600xt radeon
Motherboard type : Asus p4s266-VX (3 PCI, 1 4xAGP, 1 CNR, 2 DDR DIMM)
motherboard Chipset: SiS 650

Cpu Multiplier 17X
CPU FSB 100mhz
CPU cache L1 trace cache 12k
L1 Data cache 8kb
L2 cache 128kb

Bios: Award BIOS type: Award Modular BIOS v6.0
BIOS Revision 1003

* the problem is when i go into BIOS i cant change the FSB, hell, i cant even find where that is. I tried looking everywhere in the BIOS menu, but couldnt find it. Nowhere can i see where to change the FSB.
Are there a way to increase FSB without going to BIOS, or an update of BIOS so it enables me the option to do so? I tried finding an update for my BIOS, yet again no luck.

I tried the programs CPUFSB but no idea how to use it, i cant find the PLL.

My PLL is ICS 952001AP (had to look in the motherboard)

Please, i need some help squeezing extra juice for my pc.
Thank you all in advanced

PS: great forum

I saw 952001 under ASUS on their list. Try that one.

With that kind of OC, the way you reset it is to remove power from the PC and then power it back up. That will reset the default frequencies.
