have you ever played Dead or Alive 4 and have you ever played it on a compition lvl i promise you that you will not be able touse macros to play that game and do it effectivly and the part of error is what makes a person good being able to do a move and knowing how to do a move is 2 differnt things its like the Rijian for example everyone knows how to do it.. only 10 percent of the games out there can.. and youd have to set up some pretty complex macros with the ability to alter the timings of them on the fly for delayed hits and other factions of the fighting system that goes into play.. or you could just use a controller and be happy.. you decide

um.. im glad i dont want an aol product on my system.. and you can chat.. you can send voice messages and you can send text messages as well as going into a dcc voice chat session no matter what game your playing and you can use medica center to stream your music to the 360 even while your playing your games.. so i think this post is short.. other then surf the net and if your playing games your to busy to surf anyway..

Oh, that's cheating. No serious fighting game fan would play with you if you did that.

Some games' control schemes are simply designed with the intention of being played using a specific type of controller. Fighting games expect you to have a D-pad or joystick. Driving and flight games practically require an analog joystick. Some games just play better with the pixel-precise controls of a mouse or trackball. And some games just need buttons.

So one again, everyone stop arguing about what is "best". The "best" controller is largely dependent on the type of game being played, and somewhat dependent on the personal bias of the player.

There are soem game typed that can;t be played on a computer without a pad....those would be platformers and fightin games to be precise. Lemme rephrase that. It's very very difficult to do so. That's why the ones that i have th eROMS of, i converted an xbox controller to USB and have an adaptor for a PS2 controller for USB....

I plau lots of console games, i just do it VIA my computer.

PC are nice BUT their is a differance between a PC and a GAMING PC, everyone should have a computer but gaming pc are just to expensive, if you have the cash to burn on a gaminb pc thats great but some people dont have the cash, i had a awsome gaming pc and was going to spend even more on it to make it even better but i started thinking and saw that i just dont have the money right now to keep getting the latests and greates parts just to run some games on high. I like the 360 and what they have done with it the new games that are coming out look awsome and on a HDTV its going to look even better. But if computers are your hobby i say through as much money as you want at it but for me its not number one on my "things to through cash at" list.

I will say i know im going to miss pc games the counsal games that they "port" over are way to dumbed down example BF2

I don't see why everyone is argueing about which is best. There is no best. The pc and 360 are different animals. I mean at least for me I am not going to unhook my PC and connect it to my 47" HDTV every time I want to play a game. So having a console is a must. Especially since I have friends over a lot and we play burnout. But there are games I just like better on PC too. Like FPS I believe a mouse and keyboard is the best for that. Each has its place though for me at least. I will get a 360 soon to replace my ps2.

you crazy ppl, ok you can do a lot of thing in the pc (burning dvd´s, edit video, make mp3,download programs, overclock) and play, ok that´s nice, but you got to pay your ass off to play at the same or better quality than in a console, and that´s only that year cuz the next years will unleash the fury of the next gen consoles and you need upgrades, so lets do the math

1 xbox360 for 5 years=399
1 pc high-spec every year*5years=A LOT+selling your body+being drug dealer

ok i know you guys are crazy about AA and AF even playing at 20fps
i don´t care about jaggies, the most important is the 60fps on all the consoles

what i´m saying is get a nice console and also get a decent pc, but i don´t want to be giving my money to (intel - ati - ram maker) every year for the same money i give to mocosoft only once.

i´have loved pc´s all my life but this nonsense got to stop, every month a new ati card, new dx, new ddr2,3,4,5 new pentium, and that´s nice for the tecnology but is not smart, cuz you are proud of your pc and next year it will barely play the same game on the ps3-360 at 20fps disabling stuff and lowering resolution

Also not everything is CS (i hate it) there are final fantasy, resident evil, fighting games, racing games, and many stuff never for pc

so get both pc and 360 and stop being (my pc cost 2500$ and look a little nice vs the 360)

finally forget the graphics and think in the game
i played shadow of the colossus on ps2 and it runs at 15fps but is the funniest thing ever, never bored, amazing.

...What? Your logic is crazy lol. I agree that for the price the 360 is much better than any other PC. For $400 you're looking at a Celeron D, 512MB RAM and integrated video and sound, good luck comparing to the 360s visuals with that, especially at 1280x720 resolution that every 360 game is required to support. However, why would you need to upgrade your PC every year? If you already had a top of the line machine like mine, next year it will still be just as powerful and its not like the Xbox360 is getting upgrades over time lol.

Bottom line, consoles undergo revolutionary changes every 5 or so years and then stagnate between revolutions whereas the PC market continually evolves at an amazing rate. Sure, today an Xbox360 beats any other PC considering its price but the original Xbox was like that when it was launched too, but today an original Xbox is still an original Xbox whereas we have much more powerful PCs. (though still not at the ~$130 you can get an Xbox for lol).

So all in all consoles are always the better value for money only for games, good luck editing video or sending emails or browsing overclock.net with that 360 and that my friends is why there will always be a need for both consoles AND PCs.
