best video card for around $200 - Page 2

I'd get the 7600GT, it performs similarly/better than the X850XT and you won't have to sacrifice (some) of the image quality. And the 84.43 drivers solve the No HDR and AA problem in some games.

Hmmm you might be right but the 7600gt and 850xt are like almost even.

But the 7600GT is quieter, runs cooler, uses less power, has SM3, and can overclock like crazy with a very easy volt mod.

Well, if you are seriously considering upgrading even more, just get an eVGA 7600gt. Then, you can step it up if you want more performance.

Good choice. Maybe one of the best bang for your buck cards out there right now.

How so? The X1800 XT is of equal speed or faster then a 7900 GT, and costs less too.

The x1800xt is no where near the 7900GT's performance. With some serious OC'ing it may come close, but not at stock.

The 7600gt is an awesome card for an even better price. And the OC like hell.

Or

If you have the cash to boot, throw some cash down and get the 7900gt, volt mod it and clock it up to likr 700+/1700+!!!!
