I don't want to answer the first question.
But as to whether or not this beats them, No Way. But that doesn't mean it's bad. It's intended for ppl who have clearance problems with their RAM on normal high performance coolers. Its larger but isn't as deep. Essentially it's an MUX-120 for enthusiasts.

The problem of going from 12cm to 14cm fans is the thickness. Static pressure works well with 25mm on 12cm fans but thickness needs to be increased as fans get bigger or you lose static pressure. Does anyone know what size fan is 25mm thickness good up to?

Should have a look at my copper TRUE, 1.9Kg... warps my Mobo a little

Might think about getting this heatsink, would definitely solve my clearance issues, Does anyone know of any 140mm delta fans that are readily available?

Good to see heatsinks getting a little smaller for a change. Now if only delta and sanyo started making performance 140mm fans.
