You essentially have the same chip as me (Just has a x14 multi where as mine is x12) and a very similar motherboard, just with the 865 chipset intead of my i875P chipset.

Your memory timings are quite loose now so i doubt it is to do with your memory and you are running tham at only 368MHz (Whats the default voltage for your memory and what are you running them at?)

As you can see from my sig I am running mine at 1.625v on the core so maybe try upping the voltage by one notch (prob 0.025v) or two. Just dont exceed 1.675v otherwise you might drastically reduce the lifespan of your chip (SNDS)

Monitor your voltages from the VDIMM, VCORE, +3.3V, +12v & +5v rails and make sure they dont "droop" too much. (this can be a common problem with the socket 478 boards)

see how you get on with that

P>S Please fill out your system specs it makes life so much easier (User CP ^^^)

i am not sure, how do i find this out?

In my bios i have two settings in the overclock section that are currently left on aut; DDR reference voltage and DRAM frequency.. should i be making any changes to these?

cheers,
G

No probs I enjoy helping others obtain their best overclocks

Not being 100% certain of your Bios settings as i have had similar boards, Your DDR reference voltage on "auto" means they are running at default voltage (2.6v prob, although if i had the model number of your memory would also help )

Im not sure about your dram frequency on "auto" as you are running a 5:4 divider. Auto would suggest 1:1 ratio, but anyway

If you can find a PDF version of your manual and link me i can check the details exactly. (not seen that particular board in the uk just the P4P800-VM, Dlx, SE etc, which i have owned/used)

Overclocking can be affected by so many different factors and it can be quite hit and miss to get good results.

Don't worry about your vdimm ... your memory is not causing the problem.... Its not running near where it should be running... your on a 5:4 divider.

Make sure that your pci/agp are locked....
