The new revision is said to run a bit cooler and is said to overclock better but we wont know till all the B1's are sold out and replaced with the C1's.

Either way, with some of the features of the C1, you still have to turn them off sometimes to get a stable OC. I wouldn't mind getting a B1 but.......I want a 960 and that one will certainly be a C1 which I'll have to turn off TM2 if not stable at "X" speed.

nagsul why dont you edit your pc in your specs but in teh sig?

I find it annoying to read every little detail of what you guys have. I go for the most important part.

MoBo
Cpu
Ram
Cooling
Video and
PSU.

I'm not that concerned about everyone's:

Monitor-Case-Mouse/Keyboar-Sound Card-OS & HDDs.

It's easy to pinpoint some's issue in terms of hardware/overclock related with those few specs.

You can't argue that you can't OC higher because you have a 17" LCD or a wired mouse/keyboard or a 40GB HDD. Sound? Well, that's what locking the PCI is for. And who here doens't use Windows?

And also it looks better my way IMO, than having to read all across the board. Personal preferences, they vary and I just like to keep it simple, yet very thorough.

BTW, did you spread AS5 all over the heat-sink? Because Preslers cores are a bit appart from each other so it's a good idea to put the AS5 all over instead of putting the little rice grain size on it.

Goo luck with the 275fsb and also, take some SS, we'd like to see it.

Figured that one out when I was pushing 68c, reapplied and it doesn't go over 53c for anything.

Hello all,

I'm running my 950 Presler at 4.2Ghz (16x266) and the temps under full load (Dual Prime testing) are 58 - 65 Degrees C.

Cooling with dangerden

Are these temps safe? My VCore is set to 1.35v and I'm not showing any signs of instability or Throttling.

Thanks

If you have a 950 presler, then your multi is 17 not 16, unless you have an ES.

the 950 is a 800FSB chip so your true fsb is 200.

3400/17=200 <------your chip(maybe)

3400/16=212.5 <------not your chip
