Hello friends ...

I need ur help to choose best CPU between Intel i5 760 or AMD x6 1090t. Which one is good for me ? Till now i m using only Intel. My main purpose of system upgrade is :-

1.Gaming
2.Gaming
3.Ocing
4.Watching HD movies
5.Net surfing

I need performance .No matter Intel Or AMD. No upgrade for next 1.5-2 years .

Need urgent help. Want to buy within 3-4 Days.I already sold my CPU+Mobo+RAM.

So which way i choose ? Intel Or AMD ?

X6, as its highly future proof, and should (in theory) last you at least 2-3 years
Cheers
- TechnoMan =3

*edit*
Its future proof as more and more PC games and programs will include support for 6 cores

They trade blows in the tomshardware review (I5 750 not the 760) but I think the I5 comes out just on top.

Best futureproof is having money in your pocket.
In my eyes your system is really good still.

The i5 outperforms any current AMD chip in gaming, but it not like the margin is massive.
If you wanted to save a few bucks you could just get a X4 955, there's really no need for a hexacore if you're just gaming / surfing etc.

Personal opinion.

All out performance, money is no object - Intel.
Really good performance, but have a budget to follow - AMD.
well if you will ever be doing dual cards, i know that the i5 will limit performance somewhat.
depends on your budget ultimately, if you have a high budget go intel. If you want to keep costs down amd. the amd x6 is definitely a good option, but so is the i5, really it comes to preference. Both chips o/c to 4ghz, so preference is the determining factor.
