My mind going towards the Intel i5 760 .
The i5 is faster for gaming. The difference isn't substantial though.

When time comes that the i5 is insufficient for contemporary games, the 1090T will be insufficient as well. (And vice versa, since they are so close)
If anything, the 1090T might have a longer life span if games continue the trend of using more threads.

EDIT:
If price is a concern for you, why not consider a 1075T or 1055T instead of the 1090T?

1090T not able to unleash the full power of HD5850. Check this :-

I'd rather have 1090T for six cores.

Everyone keeps forgetting, more cores doesn't mean better performance in games.

SC2 for example uses only 2 cores and PII has a hard time keeping up with i5 counterparts.

Black Ops on the other hand, X6 has a 400MHz clock speed advantage but it still loses.

what do u mean available yes they r available in india and
if u r asking about the price here in bangalore the i7 860 is almost phased out so u can only get a i7 870 now and its available for rupees 14600.....
if you are going to go for a 870, i suggest you also invest in a aftermaker cooling (my mates 860 goes to like 90C in small FFts on stock cooler)
