Which is better at folding? 805 or Clawhammer

Thread Starter
I can scoop up a used Clawhammer and slap it into a new BioStar6100 for the same money as a new 805 on a new Foxconn P4M800P7MA-RS2.

Which is the better folding Rig? Clawhammer or 805 Dual Core?

Thanks in advance--I hope to make this purchase in a day or two...Tax Refund arrived!

Hmmm, I know very little about the 805 but 2 cores folding vs 1.
I have read the 805 hitting over 2.5G so 2 cores seems better!

Appreciate the input Duke. Pretty much been planning to do an 805 build but just saw a good deal on that Athlon 64 3200+ and wondered if it was a strong performer...

As The Duke Said Folding with 2 Cores will be better than just folding with one as you can Pump out those WU out quicker for oc.net lol. Also you can overclock to get the Extra Juice out of them..So the 805 for you IMO

Here is Review on the 805 here and the Overclocking Results : http://www.legitreviews.com/article/334/1/

Id go for the 805. Not only will it clock up a decent bit but youll have two cores folding which will defenitely beat a 3200+ in the long run.

Great shootout with an OCed X2. Thanks for all the input--you've made up my mind for me--805 it will be...
