Usually guys mix dry ice with some kind of liquid. I think kerosene maybe? Or...acetone?

man I dono....but it can't just go in there by itself.

Ethanol, alcohol is the go I think but dangerous, Acetone?? Something that doesn't freeze is needed. Not sure if these can catch on fire or not though. Be careful is the key here I think.

i know that the alcohol doesnt freeze but why its dangerous ?

of corse that im going to try it fist in my garden with something that provides heat to the bottom of the box.

anyone knows if i can make the box of aluminium ?

I think it is Methyl Alcohol is what is posinous and can be harmful even if absorbed through your skin.

Alcohol does have a freezing point but it is way lower than that of plain water. They use to use Alcohol as an antifreeze in car radiators until Prestone invented Ethylene Glycerol based antifreezes in the late 40's

Oh, and yes, Alcohol and Acetone is flammable.

I've handeled a small (about 1" by 1.5") peice of dry ice with my bare hands before; for less than 4 seconds. My science teacher taught me that. You'll know when you hold it too long when your skin starts feeling very cold and you've found out the dry ice has stuck to your hand.
