Thanks for all the info. As long it runs my games fine and dosent overheat or do other damage, I'm set.

Try looking for the x800 series on ebay if you aren't getting the x1600, which is better than both in my opinion.

Buying the card tomorrow.

Quick question about cooling. Amid hearing lots of bad comments of this card overheating, I'm buying a cooling fan, the Antec VCool. Will the systems 300W power supply sufficently power the video card and fan?
