2.6c OC help

Thread Starter
It's 800 FSB Northwood.(13x200)
I can't raise FSB over 231.
Either it doesn't post or not stable.

I used DDR320 (actual RAM is DDR400) with 2.5:3:3:5:4 timing.
I use ZALMAN CNPS7000B-CU. So no problem with temp.
V-core doesn't really work.

Any idea?
I'd like to try at least 3.6, hopely 4.0.

Thanks

No problem
3-4-4-8 are pretty good oc timings, and still fast so i dont think thatl be your problem if you dont succeed

how about changing your multiplier to 15x? try that also and try overclocking from there

3-4-4-8 is with ddr400 setting. I'm trying 247/3.2G with 3-3-3-6-4 at ddr320but unstable.

maybe try loosening those timings a little too...but what voltage are you running? because that sounds like it could help about now

I tried lots of combination of ram timings but failed to pass stability/stress test. I tried DDR266/DDR320/DDR400 with different timings.

I used DDR266 with tight timing, less tight with DDR320. And the most loosening with DDR400 (3-4-4-8). This time CPU clock 247 (3.2G).

Any idea on DDR combination and timing? My mobo allows below timings.
2/2.5/3
2/3/4
2/3/4
5/6/7/8

247 requires downing DDR to 320 or 266?
