i'm trying to chose between two builds. One is a 1156 build and this other is a 775 build. Now i know 775 stuff is old and that the new socket and cpus are coming this January but heres the specs

now i know i have speakers on one and a harddrive but i can live with out those. Because i have a 160gig i just wanted to upgrade that and the speakers. But please comment on witch will benefit me most thanks

Pick up the i3 build and disable the iGPU through BIOS.

The 530 has a much newer architecture, and is quad threaded so you will see a big difference in the games that can use the extra threads over the E5500

Yea the i3 will definitely perform far better. What are you using this rig for? Do you plan on overclocking? If you plan on overclocking then you will probably want to get a nicer board.

I am sub'd for more advice though.
