Ok now lets look at this logically $65M over 2 years at 50 states is just over $1M every 2 years per state. How many schools are in a state not to mention the bog states. So how ludacris is this really thats about 25 cents per child..."here kid go get a milk and stay in school". Ok so logic was not what they were shooting for but hey why not. LOL. I fought for this country for 6 years of my life and this hipocrisy and greed in the government is not what I fought to protect. Its almost disgraceful.

damn dude how long has it been since you were in school.. 25 cents for a milk.. holy crap it thats cheap.. i havnt been in school for almost ten years and even then it was closer to a dollar ... i feel that taxiation will be stupid.. and who ever suggested cannabis.. hell the goverment is already making more money the way its setup now then they would by taxing it just this way they dont have to give up the money they get to keep it all.. i think taxings for schools is a shame its kinda like social security .. good intentions but it just wont work in the long run

Lol, this is on top of regular taxes, I thought they were REPLACING the 7.5% sales tax I already pay with a 5% tax and thought it was a great idea, but Im all for this. This may be because I never actually have to work for anything (yet) but I think the US needs all the tax dollars it can get with Bush spending Trillions of dollars we don't have, so I support this 5% extra tax.

The idea is not to take that out on your constituents we already get taxed out the @$$ im tired of it already. If they want to save some money STOP SHOOTING THE DAMN $350,000 MISSLES AT $240,000 DRONES REPEATEDLY FOR EVERY FLEET IN THE NAVY EVERY YEAR. No lie I have seen about 20-25 of said missles shot at a said drones per day for 7 days during my 4 joint fleet ops in the military. Stop developing nuclear weapons when you signed the damn nonproliferation treaty (does any one see the hipocrisy of my prior post showing through yet). Stop spending so much money bailing out other countries and take a small portion of the hundreds of billions given to other countries and put it back into the schools. I assure you even a small portion will eclipse a measely $65,000,000 every two years. Then when they have done all that come talk to me about a tax for the kids because then I really will want to listen. Point is cut the porkfat plain and simple like mentioned in a preious post in the thread. Oh yeah been out of school 13 years the 25 cents was just for dramatics lol.

They want to tax video games to help fund schools? We have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world 8-10 times over, why not cut that back to 1 or 2 times over and put all that extra money toward education?
