XP 2600+ System Stability Issues

Ok so last nigh i overclocked my computer and tested it to make shure it was stable and it was. today though it is unstable i keep getting this program needs to close errors whats wrong?

first what are you OCd too, specifics please, FSB? multi? Is your RAM on a divider?

How are you sure it was stable yesterday (how did you test its stability). For the best test, run OCCT for 2 hours, or Prime95 for 8 hours. And if you get an error, then it is not stable. And watch your temps too.

thats a pretty small OC, but its still an OC, memory seems ok, I would try upping the CPU Vcore just slightly if you have the bios options for it, and like wudaddy said what are you using to test for stability?

Ok im not absolutely certain i was stable but i played oblivion for like 3 hours and everything was fine. But today i crashes alot

i upped the vcore .050 and still had problems

alright I would try to run P95 to test for stability, then like IO said throw some slight volts at CPU, make sure you have a temperature checking program, like speedfan

oh I dont suppose you know what CPU core u have, ie Barton or Thouroughbread, its possible it may not get any higher of a OC
