D2 is a great game, But its so hacked up now, but thats what makes it so fun. =D
You can get really good in the game with some time and the right builds, but items will play a big part in your fun, if you get hookups at low levels, the game will be insanely fun. The only thing that is fun about the game IMO is the P v P.. lol

Lol, how can you get "too addicted" to a game? I love it when I'm addicted to a game like I am right now with WoW, because 95% of the time when I play a game, I play through it and either beat it and lost interest or lose interest way before Im even half way done its refreshing to see a game like WoW for instance or BF2 (been playing since the day it came out, give or take a few weeks when newer exciting games took my attention away, but I always return to BF2) and even CSS which still demands many of my precious playing hours...my point is, I'd rather be horribly over addicted to a game than have no games I even feel like playing , anyways I never played Diablo but considering how awesome the Starcraft/Warcraft series were and how well World of Warcraft did, I wouldn't be surprised if they do a World of Diablo or World of Starcraft lmao, I'd love to see another Starcraft even if it was a traditional game. Honestly though, I don't think they're picking favorites so much as they are just going down the list of their big 3 franchises and giving each an update just be patient, I dont think Blizzard would let any of those mega franchises die out on us.

Oh trust me, there are plenty of people who get too addicted to this game. The competition of getting the best items is rediculous. You'll keep playing the game just to get good items and runes. The only thing is, if you don't have a friend or somebody that will hook you up in the beginning, you'll get extremely bored with the game.

Plus, I think the Diablo series deserves another revision. It is (I don't know about starcraft) the only game in blizzard's series that seems outdated graphics wise. And the game could use more characters and quests.

I played D2 LOD and had a kickass kung-fu assassin.

I had a level 48 Tiger Strike, Dragon Tail, and Phoenix Strike. That's +28 Skills to the martial arts tree, when you max those three skills.

I used a +2 asn skills circlet that had 8/8 dual leech /w 30%FHR, 2 200/9 bartuc's claws, that gave +2 skills / +1 MA each, a 200/+2 asn skill valor, 2 +5 leech BK rings, +2 +30 mara amulet, 15% string of ears etc. Along with those I used a **** ton of 5% FHR/FRW small charms, and +1MA/7%FRW grand charms. The character was decked out. Wow I miss playing that character. I could power act people faster than a nova sorc or javazon, and also kill cows faster. Then everyone duped those 3/3/7 small charms and blizzard patched to 1.09 and the game sucked. Oh well, still had an awesome time playing. Look forward to D3.

Oh no. D2 took my life away. When I was in exams I played D2 instead of studying. Oh no. I feel like a recovering addict who's just been offered the newest, bettered drug. I had better melt down my computer and take up knitting.
