Weird thing happens during OC'ing

Thread Starter
As you can see in my specs, I'm running a Pentium D 805 with OCZ PC5400 DDR2-667 RAM.

Running at stock speeds, the POST reports the RAM's speed as running at PC4300 (533Mhz) I think this is fine cuz the 805's FSB is only 533Mhz. Right??

Now the funny part: when I OC, no matter how much or how little, the reported RAM speed during POST is PC3200 (400Mhz). Wuzzup with that??

Has anyone come across this before??

Sounds like you need to set things manually. Only manually you'll get to get them to work at the speeds and ratio that you want. Leaving them at auto never works properly.
