What if I don't want to paint.
Which fans would u recommend me to switch with the ones on NH-D14 to match a blue rig HAF X?

Still trying to know if the CNPS 9900 Max is relatively silent.. Is it?

NH-D14 really looks plain ugly especially if you put it in a windowed case but is the best performer out there..

Why didn't they paint it atleast black or some blue or red mixture to harmonize with the case.. They had to go with a beige-brown mix.. UGLY I SAY

Anywayz, if I want to overclock the SandyBridge i7-2600K with the CNPS 9900 Max, will its performance be satisfying at load? Not if comparing with noctua ofc.
Ummm, it was a review of the cooler I bought, and then the anti-Zalman freaks drop out of the woodwork spitting tripe everywhere about how Zalman blahblahblah. Please. I mean seriously, if a person does not like the price point, the way it looks or what ever I don't care. IF someone had one of these and had issues or problems, then I would want to read what they have to say about it.

About it making noise? I cannot hear the damn thing. Period. It is running off of the 4-pin header with no resistor. My 140mm fans are louder than it is. Honestly I have the 9700 and a 9900 120mm and I never heard them as well. You might hear it if you have no other fans running in a sound proof room with your ear right next to it.

The problem with these massive coolers is the strain on the motherboard from the weight. I had the predecessor to this model and it cooled VERY well. But the weight of it was just WAY too much.

What are the adverse affects? None at all.
