I THINK the Big Typhoon fits s478... I'll go check.

Edit: It fits the "P4 478 Prescott FMB1.5". Not sure what the FMB 1.5 is.

I vote TT Big Typhoon and upgrading stock, 54CFM fan, with a good 90-120CFM fan on it.

If the Big Typhoon can fit the motherboard AND in your case, then this would be the best choice for now. If not, then you could try the Thermalright XP-90 or XP-120. My personal experience between Thermalright and ThermalTake is that Thermalright gets it done! I've owned many ThermalTake heatsinks from the Orb, Volcano 2, Volcano 7, Volcano 7+, Volcano 9 etc.. I've also owned the SLK-800 and currently the XP-90AlCu. I vote for the Thermalright heatsinks.

Some others here at overclock will swear by the Zalmans, but my experience with the Zalman 7000Cu was less than I hoped for.. This decision will take a personal like or dislike attitude as well. So read some reviews, check motherboard compatibility, and check your wallet. Make a good decision based on data and personal taste.

I hope this helped, :-)

I vote for the thermaltake golden orb II. It wouild be a good choice if ur a little cramped for space as its a little smaller than the zalmans and probably the BT.
