Oblivion is made for next-gen hardware Just wait till we have mid range cards that can play that game as if it was nothing.
I've got everything maxed....but I only run the game at 1024x768....

I can't wait for the next gen...cause it's gonna own pretty hard.

On a 17" Monitor, maybe not. With a 19"+, more likely, so you could run it at higher resolution.

Sephiroth get you should definately get F.E.A.R. as that game will look insane on that hardware. It is in my opinion still the game that has the best graphics of any made to date. I can run it on pretty high settings and it looks amazing. Your new system would be able to run it maxed at 1280x1024. I say that the upgrade was worth it if you like the way your rig runs now. I mean I could play all the games I have right now on my old 9550 but I am so happy I upgraded because being able to run games at max is just nice.

Imagine if the Quadros were made for gaming. *drools*

Ok I'll stop dreaming. I've heard a lot of rumors about the nVidia G80 (probable 8800) though. I think you should save the money and wait for the DX10 cards, if you have the patience.

Yeah actually I have FEAR right now, and it's really fun. I can run a lot of settings on it at high right now (with my 2.8 Ghz P4 HT, 1.5GB of Ram, and 6800GT) but yeah I can't wait to try it out with the new rig.

Thursday is when I go home and put this baby together!
