What is a citizen of the world? I am not a citizen of the world, I am a US citizen. Call me whatever you want, but from my experience every 3rd world country in the world put themselves in their current situation, I have no remorse for them.

i am sorry but since u seem to be very experienced in the affairs of the 3rd world countries, would u mind elaborating a little bit more on exactly what situation have the 3rd world countries put themselves in? and in doing so i hope you dont mind elaborating your personal experiences too.

No 3rd wourld country put themselves in the place they are. And Malaysia isnt a 3rd world country btw.. Or at least I wouldnt think it would be. What this all goes back to is European imperialism and totally screwing up all balance other countries had, and only some have been able to get a stable government up, and some that have has also had groups trying to get control of the government, or are have just been hit really hard by certain conditions for whatever reason.

And everyone is a citizen of the world, and everyone should treat everyone like they would someone from their country IMO. Really though whether this is true or not, people seemed to have ignored it..

I think we should probably drop the discussion. I am not going to change my mind, and neither are you.

Pick any African country of your choice. You have been educated too much with the leftist version of history....

I never said Malaysia is a 3rd world country, I really don't know that much about Malaysia.

Anyways, I am done with this arguement.

first of paul, i am not out to change your mind nor my own. and secondly it is my personal opinion that no one and no country should feel that the whole world revolves around them. really i am not out to politicize this and though i can become like many ppl and say nasty things or get angry, i have no intention to do so. what i AM trying to say is simply this. we should never assume that those support us are friends and those who dont are not. that is simplistic way of thinking.

and what Jori said is not a leftist education product but rather the truth. if you would be willing to open the history books of all around the world and read them you would probably realize that it is indeed true enough. but the US would not be the first country to do it nor would it be the last. its a simple cycle of world politics. Churchill did it, Hitler did it, Roosevelt did it and so did Emperor Han of China and Chandra Gupta in India just like Caesar in Rome. ponder on that for a moment.
