My Highest 3700 OC

It wasn't stable at all, but I managed to break the 3GHz barrier. The highest I can hit stable is about 2.8-2.9, although I ususally run at 2.65. Vcore was 1.6 for the 3.0 OC, RAM was at 2.8, chipset was 1.6. I would go higher, but I think any more juice would fry the CPU pretty quickly. My idle temp was about 36C while at 1.6v. Anyone have any suggestions?

try RAM at 3-4-4-8
What is the temp under load?
looks good still, 2.8-2.9 still not bad.

I didn't manage to get it under load. It was so unstable that it crashed as soon as I managed to validate that. I could try RAM at 3-4-4-8, but I don't think that would help much.

I agree w/ dangerous. I'm not an expert on latency and timings, but i think that it may need a bit of headroom. From what i understand, you add CAS latency to the RAS to CAS time and then add 2 to get your "active to precharge" time (tRAS). so..

3(cas)+4(ras2cas)=7 + 2 (for headroom) = 9

like my timings in my "second system" 2+2=4 +2=6 so 2-2-2-6

I think i read that on a DFIstreet forum a while back
