AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Manchester - Page 4

Thread Starter
Guys, I think the "CPU Temperature" reading in my BIOS is incorrect. Speedfan, Everest, and my BIOS all give me different readings.

Maybe "System Temperature" is what I should be looking at?

Where are the heat sensors located? On the CPU itself, or on the Motherboard? I'd like to know so I can use my 3 Year Warranty... *Sigh*

I have no idea if it helps or not but I got that CPU to 2.4Ghz with 1.375v (1.344 according to CPU-Z) and it was stable in dualprime for 9 hours until I stopped it. What is your max FSB and max memory speed? Also what are you running your hyper transport multiplyer at? Once you know all that stuff plug it in here and it will tell you what's best: http://math.gogar.com/athlon64.cgi
