, there is no reason at all to mess with any voltage other than vcore, vdimm, and cpu-nb to get a good daily overclock.
I once did try for as high an htt as possible, and got to 270 with like 1.22v, and after that I couldn't get any further regardless of what I did. TBH, I think the RAM was holding me back.
I'm going to try the RAM one more time since I think it messed up do to possible overheating, and see what happens. If it is really dead, I'll get better RAM and see how true our theory (probably fact, actually
) is of the chipset only affecting the htt. There was no doubt it was helping with stability under a NB of 2750, but maybe if I get better RAM, I won't have to mess with it much to begin with.
