100 mm from the front to the back Make a mark on The 100 mm mark for the three measurements you will take. A measurement from the front of the Piece down the edge to the 100 mm mark, Then do the right and the two bottom lower side sides..

Then using your marks, make your line with blue tape on the side of the case that you are going to use. The fan side. Make it at least 4 layers of blue tape. Then cut on the edge of the tape letting the tape be your template and cut with a Dremel.

FILE along the edges with a medium file. Real Easy though, (it is aluminum..) with the blue tape still in tack.

Then use the 100 mm with the switches and the USB and E Sata for different places in the back of the case. As you like. Imagination is Key.

I came from the 800D, 690 II Adv., Haf-X and now the A05NB. This is by far the best build experience I had ever participated in. I don't know. There was just something magical about this experience when I was putting this rig together. It was so light and easy to move around. I cannot believe I tortured myself by choosing colossus +30lbs cases when I could of had the A05NB this entire time.

I could have almost sworn this case was made from the heavens and came directly from it. I will not lay a finger on any other case for a very, very long time.

I was shocked to find out that it only took me 5 minutes to do the cable management (I did grab a modular PSU but it was absolutely worth it!). The other cases I previously had took me 30min to an hour for managing the cables.

I'll get some pics up when I'll receive my GTX 570.

This is the PC-06 Tech bench mod. I think it is overkill but overkill is good with a Lian Li is involved.

I think we can find another Lian Li model top that will fit the bill. Man that is pretty.

Looks like he cut this to fit..

PRESS PICTURE FOR LINK

Okay Dead.. I did some checking.. this will fit. it is 8.66 inches across according to newegg but lian LI says its 220mm. I believe Newegg because of the picture you have and believe that panel is 210mm across because they did the specs in inches (8.66 Inches = 209.965 mm or 210). You can cut the rest to fit. That is the one. you need 490 mm for length and this panel is 590 which give you 100 mm to cut off the front. That plug on top has 4 sata 3s and a E-sata port that you might want to use in the back.

That might not work if the hooks for the panel are not in the right area.

He also seems to not want the top sata/usb piece leaving for a "flat" look if its like that picture, unless you were suggesting getting it and cutting it off.

Lian-Li doesn't seem to have ANY contact from my experience since RMA doesn't lead to anywhere nor any of the other emails I had previously tried in trying to get spare parts.

Having a break would be hella useful here, as the method described doesn't include leaving a lip to secure the front end with. You might be able to get away with doing it by hand if you were incredibly careful and scored the metal first.

I don't know, but I feel it will just work. It appears to simply be stretched forward from the A05 top panel. I imagine Lian Li did it this way to minimize costs (fewer equipment changes for different panels).

Also, the idea is to cut off the front panel connectors.

Guys. I never like to say that something cannot be done. With the right tools know how and skills anything mechanical can be achieved and I like to tell people how I could or would do it to achieve the needed results. Otherwise you do nothing and never achieve anything. Yes. I know that getting that panel is a 90 percent chance of working. to me that is enough to throw 50.00 dollars at it. It is that panel that was used in that picture. Or at least it was the only one I could find. As long as you are leaving the rear in tacked then the side panels should fit fine. But nothing is ever for sure. I would do it if I wanted that look.

You'll have to do the paint job yourself or get it powder coated. No model exists that comes with black interior as far as I know.
