So no, you couldn’t have got a larger washer. Sorry.

I got the same case feet as you. Mine came with no mounting hardware so I went to my local hardware store and bought what you see in this picture. A large washer, and a screw and a nut.

They dont look like the SD-02 case feet as that looks like a M4 or M5 bolt you got through it. The SD-02's only fit a M3 thread, unless you drilled it through? Lian-Li do a range of case feet you know.

As you can see from the picture below, M3 screws are a lot smaller than a 9mm hole.

Even if it is possible I dont think what you have done looks very nice, but thats just my opinion. Thanks for trying to make your point though.

I did not mean to cause offence and don’t believe such comments are necessary. I was merely trying to explain that Lian-LI SD-02 case feet will not fit a larger screw than the supplied M3, unless you drill the plastic out to support a larger screw. Even if you did this an M5 screw would perhaps work with a larger washer, however because the M5 screw would still be smaller than the original hole there would be a certain amount of play meaning it would be difficult to get all 4 feet to align symmetrically. I wanted to explain that in case anyone else was thinking about buying these feet thinking they may simply replace the standard PCA05 case feet, as this is a Lian-Li PC-A05 thread.

Glad I could be of service. Not too sure about the SD-01's, will investigate for you later, on mobile phone at the moment so browsing difficult. The SD-02's are fine by the way if you are willing to drill a new hole, as I have on my build. You also have to snap off the plastic tab you may have seen on a photo. My only comment would be if you are planning on reversing your PSU so it takes in air from the bottom, then the SD-02 feet don’t provide a whole lot of room being rather low profile, however so far mine has been okay with them.

my psu already takes in air from the bottom, have the a05fn you see...

would rather get the sd-01 if it fits without having to modify anything, as they cost the same hereabouts

cheers

You could always just drill an extra set of smaller holes next to the large ones for the other feet. smile.gif
