Can you press it back into place? It might not be on all the way. But that doesn't really look to be the case.

I'll take the top off this afternoon and have a better look at it. I'd really like to hang onto the case so I can start migrating my stuff so I might just tough it out. However, with as much as you pay for these you definitely want them to be in good shape when they arrive at your house. As the box doesn't look like it got banged up at all, I'm wondering if this left Lian Li like this?

Oh well...you know what they say about the best laid plans...frown.gif

Removed the lid last night and had a better look at it. It appears it was bent due to the manufacturing process and not any shipping damage. I think it was bent when the lid was cut for the USB header and MIC/Head Phone port. It seems to bow slightly in that general area in a "U" shape. Not sure if I just got a lemon or if this is rampant on the latest manufactured batch of these. The date on my box indicated this one was made in May of this year I think. At any rate, I muscled it back into shape a little bit and it is now considerably more flush...not perfect, but it's not bothering me enough anymore to RMA it and miss out on modding time.

I demand pictures of the layout. Or a build log.
does the revised fnb come with a screen for the top vent? in other words, if i want a fan up there, do i need to punch the top part out, and insert a screen?

That's a good question. I have no idea. You'd have to wait for a FN owner to answer that one.
