I think I shall do that. Thanks for the idea!

If I got mnpc tech recessed handles would it be possible to install these on the top panel, and would the panel stay on?

I doubt it would. It's thin AL in the top panel only held on by 4 M5 screws. If you could secure them to the frame rails under the top panel I bet the case could take the beating.

I ordered this 140mm grill to use for the blowhole on top.

What screws should I go with to fasten it and the fan?

Reverse the the HHDs in the cage. Only problem is the a 120mmx25mm fan will not fit. I have a slim 120mm fan I will try it with when I get the chance tomorrow. But this could be a great way to clean up the inside of the case. Most likely going to need a custom cable to be down but it's not impossible.
That's actually a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to try it too but I don't think my hdd's would like it much considering temps since I would have to take my AP-14 exhaust out of the case.

Just thought I'd share an idea, the top section of the A05NF might be too tight to fit radiators with thickness of over 25mm with standard fans, however the A05FN has an extra PCI-e slot, so it is possible to move the motherboard down one extra slot to accommodate a full size radiator with standard 25mm thick fans.
The only downside to this is you would have to drill new mounting holes for the motherboard standoffs and fabricate a new IO/shield, given you don't have usb ports on the bottom section of your IO/sheild, but payoff would be to full fit an atx motherboard with standard radiator and fans without any compromise, feel free to share your thoughts on this.

I have just managed to read (or maybe skim ) all of this thread. Made for some interesting reading, especially everyones views on airflow.

I figured I should finally sign up to ocn after reading through the forums on and off for a few years now.

I recently got my A05NB, will put up some pictures later on today, it is completely stock at the minute, but have the usual mods planned.

What are you using for that led lighting? looks pretty legit. Post a better picture of what exactly you screwed up because I'm failing to see the fault.
Thanks for you compliments, it is hard to see from the photo, but the folds are battered. I will try to take another photo of it this weekend. Not giving up though, i like the clean look and plan to butcher another side panel, i just wonder how many of these cases i will end up buying before i am happy =)

The lighting is a NZXT sleeved LED kit, link.
