That is... beautiful.

Top work man, that is excellent. I am nearly speechless, that is absolutely flawless.

Hmm, maybe you could powdercoat the I/O shield white or something thumb.gif but that thing is stunning.

I am thinking about building up a bulldozer/7970 rig some time this year in a lian li smile.gif

I would love to get one, but I just hate the fingerprints my Lian Li current has. They will never come out. frown.gif I tried cleaning it with some isopropyl alcohol, but it doesn't work.

Hello guys! Please, excuse my lack of knowledge in English - I am european and my native language has nothing to do with english smile.gif

So I really, reaally like this case! I've found a guy who has it and he is willing to sell it to me, but I have a problem. A problem, which makes me sad, very sad frown.gif

I have a room with desk where my PC sits. My PC case sits on the right side of the desk. In this photo:

700

I see that the the side window is facing the other way around - I mean this side window is design for a case, which stands at the left side of the desk. I want it exactly the opposite!

Can I somehow mod or reverse the case so the side window to be at the other side? Because I want the case to stand at the right side of my desk and I want to fit it with a custom side window. Can I do that? And if I can - how can I do it?

I hope you understand my concern. Thank you in advance for your answers!

EDIT: Congarts for the SCYTHE Fan Controller - I have the same and it looks awesome at this case!

Unfortunatly that ruins the point of this case and I'll tell you why. Currently they actually have a case as you request. it is called the A05FNB, It is actually the update version of this case. However if you are looking for a high performance case the "standard" orientation of the MOBO puts the GPU at the same level as the PSU, Which creates a nasty air pocket in the bottom of the case. This can be modded with a fan cutout on the bottom of the case as well as larger stand off feet to accommodate the airflow, but all in all the reversed motherboard orientation of the A05NB is what gives this case line the superiority over other similar cases.

Oh, well, thats sad frown.gif

I really liked the case. I am watching and reading reviews for case the past 7 days and this is one of my favorites! I think I like it mostly, because it is extremely practical.

I don't know what to do now. May be i will wait for the guy who sells it to give me a price offer (because he hasn't yet) and then I will think it over.

I have another question. Seems like the new case I'm going to buy will lack USB 3.0 I/O ports. So my question is - is there a USB 3.0 I/O ports for sale? And if there are any do the use the PCI-E port? Because I have all of my PCI-E ports taken and I don't have a PCI-E port for use, so I need USB 3.0 but I can't sacrifice a PCI-E port for it. Is there a solution, because my MOBO doesn't have a USB 3.0 and I wanted to buy a HDD USB 3.0 external box for my HDD...

Well that's all I guess... Thanks for the fast answer - I will think about that little Lian Li beast. I quite liked it.

EDIT:

Guys there is another issue with this case- I use 2 or 3 HDD's. Right now I have only 2, but is there enough space for 2 HDD's?! On one of them I have fan cooler on the bottom of it, so it takes space. Another thing - I can't mount one of the HDD's in the 5.25 inch. drive bay because I have a DVD-RW and a SCYTHE Fan Controller, which are 2x5.25 inch devices, so - no space for a third one... So can I fit 2 HDD;s, one of them with air cooling?! And most importantly - do I need the air cooling for the HDD, when I use this case?

USB 3.0 runs off a port that looks like two USB 2.0 ports combined, it will not take up a pci-e slot. I beleive you can check out the lian li web site for a new 3.0 port.

The HDD cage supports x3 3.5" HDDs along with x2 5.25" external bays and x1 3.5" external bay. Unless you are using high RPM (10k) drives you do not need an additional HDD cooler, replacing the case fans with more efficient ones is the route I would take if it was needed anyways, might as well benefit every component instead of just a HDD that doesn't really matter.

Thank you for your answer! Moments ago I've received an price offer and right now I have some thinking to do... decisions, decisions! rolleyes.gif

By the way about the USB 3.0. Here is what I've meant:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Accessories/U3S6/

Can I find some USB 3.0 expansion slots, which won't need an PCI-E to get working? Isn't there an external hub or something? May be eSATA to USB 3.0 or...?

Anyway this is little bit offtopic post, so If no one has an answer I will understand. Thanks again and good night (it is 00:30 where I live...)

EDIT:

How is the cable management in Lian Li A05?! I'm asking this because i want to use my "notorious" smile.gif fan controller and I have an old Fortron not modular PSU. Right now I have lots of cables and I'm wondering - are there good options here in this case for cable management when using a more "normal" and "old" PC config?

But eSATA is not as fast as USB 3.0 FYI.
