Hello, i am goign to buy the case next month to start a build which is going to take me a few months.

So i basicly wanted to know (rather confirmation), would i really need to add the top fan in a CX hd7870 + i7-3770k with hyper 212 evo configuration?

It is never something you "HAVE" to do, but you are at OCN.

If i am just aiming for a moderate OC temporarely on both cpu and gpu, will it be ok?

Anyways i don't think i'll get the second gpu just yet in the build, so i might as well test temps when i will be able to with just the on.

Is the hole and fan added easily?

I'm asking all this as it will be my very first time doing this sort of thing, i've barely been into this for the last few months, putting up the computer i use right now found naother way for me to spend my money....

By no means do you have to. Just be warned temps will be warmer then you are going to like unless you don't care if it's running ~80C and it's your space heater. If I was putting the money into the hardware you are I'd do it. If you do go for two cards then you better do it.

I have a front filter kit on the way for the front radiator fan and a 4 X 2.5 HDD 5.25 bay adaptor, right now I am thinking about the wires for the PSU, go stock, order the new Corsair sleeved wire kit of have some custom length wires made.

bro, may i ask how long is the space from the PCI slot cover to the PSU.
i'm thinking on the same build, but i'm worried that the Alpenfohn Peter GPU cooler will not fit in there.
i have a 16cm long PSU (Enermax Modu87+), which i assume is as long as your AX750W.

nice build btw!

10.5 inch from the pci slot cover to the psu, less after you plug the wires into the psu.

I spent my morning rearranging some things within my case. I took the hard drive cage out and flipped the psu. Now I don't know what to do with the extra space I have. I never knew this thing could be so roomy. I've got almost the entire bottom of the case as well as the area where the cage was to do whatever I want with. Too bad I don't want to spend any money on new parts.

Sorry about the poor quality. My camera is out of commission, so I had to use my phone.

Soooo I have officially moved on from my A05NB to a V354B. Can I still remain a member of the club, or must I get jumped out.
Thanks

Added some aluminum fan covers from Lian Li, they were red, took a lot of sanding to change that. I think it adds a little Lian Li class to the case.

@kev_b

How do you mount a 120mm fan on the top?

If I am wrong it is for 140mm fan only.

I also have problem mounting a h70 at the back 120mm fan spot =x, If I remove the hard disk cage. i will have no space for my hard disk =x
