I figured as much, But I was just wondering what made you choose that cooler over others.

Aye, there are plenty of better coolers around like Thermalright Shaman, Alpenföhn Peter, few Arctic's Acceleros etc...

How do you guys think i7-3820 and a non-ref 7870/7950, all OC'd of course, would behave temp wise in the A05N if I kept the airflow back->front and bought/made a top panel with 140mm fan. Gonna get a decent heatsink for cpu ofc, but mainly just interested on airflow in general. And fans would be more silence-oriented (bitfenix spectres probably).

I only got a few coolers that I can choose from due to the non-reference card design and position of the DVI

Not sure if you've looked into the Setsugen II but it's a great cooler and is the essence of card capatibilty. If you replace the slim stock fan with a 25mm pwm fan and the 4 pin fan cable adapter that way it can be controlled via software it packs a punch and is quiet. It's a dual slot cooler unless you change the fan. My 5770 is no heat monster but at 1.35v and 1075 on the core it hovers right at 65c and never has gone over 70c. I have a artic accerolo 5870 in my case right now. It eats up all my 5.25" bay space which wasn't a problem for the Sestugen. Since you are talking about the FN you are going to want something short.

That's pretty neat; I have a CM ATCS 840 as well, and I just got a PC-A05. I don't think I'll be modding it at all though. Looking forward to seeing the finished result. smile.gif

Check out the green mod, I used the red mod on my non reference cf 6950's and it worked a charm for the heat issues. Best part is I run all fans at 50% now when gaming ... very very quiet.

Can anyone confirm that a Lian Li PCI-01 PCI-Holder Tool-less will go in a PC-A05? Pretty sure i have seen a photo of one fitted in a PC-A05 but want to be sure before ordering. Thanks in advance.
