I see what they did there to fix their mistake. PSU is now vertically orientated. It may give the option of  some longer gpus in the lower slots and help with the hot air pocket that formed in to bottom, but limits the upper slot lengths too. And they seemed to have pre-modded it for us. No more cutting holes in the floor.

I feel kinda... Meh... about the their latest mid tower cases after they botched the A05.

More info here. Doesn't appear to have a rear fan mount and no 120mm fans. May make mounting an hyrdo unit interesting.

it looks like a standard-atx case, but it states it's a micro. weird.

edit: nvm. it says it is a standard-atx case on their website.

Airflow is via 140mm fans at bottom and top so air convects up. Looks a good setup.

Seems like with that setup, your CPU will be running extra hot. Since it will be taking all the heat from the GPU.

I am looking at getting this case and found it for $99 shipped. the model number and discription says it is Lian Li PC-A05NB Black aluminum ATX mini Tower case/ 140 mm top FAN.
that last part is what is throwing me off. I thought that only the new revision has the top fan with the non inverted motherboard. I email the seller and this

ME "Regarding the Lian Li A05 NB case. It states that it is the model A05NB but that it also has a top 140mm fan which is not standard on the A05NB but is on the A05FN. It this case the model with the inverted motherboard tray? "

Response Are PC-A05 is a Special form Lian Li that only we have made for use are is the PC-A05NB not PC-A05FN but if you need USB3 we can add it to are case

ME So the A05NB does have the inverted motherboard tray any it has the top blow hole of 140mm. USB 3.0 would be great to be added as well. thanks for the information and quick response.

Response If you go to http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=289&cl_index=1&sc_index=26&ss_index=69&g=spec it has the top blow hole and 140mm fan and I can add UBS3 to it

From what it sounds like is that they have the A05-NB with inverted motherboard, USB 2.0 (but will add 3.0 is i ask) and a different top with a 140mm blow hole. Does this seem correct to all of you.

I agree, I like the new case, but I think they should go back to the inverted mobo for it.

You can get a top for the PC-A05NB (inverted mobo) with a blow-hole from Lian-Li (or at least you used to), so I wouldn't be surprised if someone is selling one with it. In fact, I bought one myself from Ebay with the top fan included. thumb.gif
