I'm trying to source another A05NB from Finland but doesn't look too good.
Not many etailers have it listed anymore, actually I only found one store that still has it listed but 0 in stock and a '?' in the estimated delivery date biggrin.gif.
I think I'm gonna start calling the local stores now lol.
Amazon.de has it listed as well but delivery time is 2-5 weeks so I'll rather not put my money there since it doesn't say anything whether it's stock or not..
I'll put up a classified to MuroBBS to see if anyone wants to sell their unmodded and in fairly good condition A05NB thumb.gif

Is the airflow in the A05fn really that bad, even with the 3 fan installed? I'm trying to find a A05n but they are not available anymore mad.gif
post #3018 of 3785
Well it's not THAT bad but in my honest opinion, what made A05N so special is the inverted ATX layout which Lian Li took away with A05FN..

Thanks for the reply man

Actually I managed to source a A05N, its gonna cost me like $30 more than the fn though. Would a A05n with stock cooling be better than a A05fn with the extra fan installed, or will I have to mod the A05n with a top fan to make it better?

If it where me I'd get the N even if it's more than the FN. The inverted board is what what's the case.

I believe the FN may have slightly better CPU temps but it's a trade off. The gpu now gets stuffed down with the psu and creates a pocket in the bottom of the case for hot air. It can be remedied with a fan but a hole must be added. Also now the psu limits the range of gpu's you can use deepening on cooler and location of the pcie on the motherboard.

The N will be amazing if you decide to cut a hole in the top panel either as exhaust or intake. If not and you have a blower style cooler on your gpu it may run warmer but still be fine due to exhausting the hot air.
