ok so i have edited my fan layout and this is what happened.

looks like i need an exhaust fan on the bottom, and a little more airflow around the mobo

Amazing

Whats different respect before?
6870 is less hot in full?

that looks awesome ikem

do you think you could do that with all the fans in the other direction?
idk... see what i had intended to do is have the top push air down (which it has done very well.) and have a cross flow from the front and back fans take it out the rear. But it looks like the top fans are pushing the hot air down and just holding it there. It is actually kinda cool seeing it work like this. I think by reversing the top will just end up the same, and it will be sucking the air from the intake on my 6870. Now there is almost no airflow on the mobo under the 6870... which isnt good. The D14 blocks alot, and the 6870 blocks all the air coming from the top fans. Looks like a bottom exhaust in in order. It would solve the air getting trapped and create some airflow over the bottom of the mobo.

Air flow and cooling means alot to me since this is folding alot, plus i like figuring out new ways to fix things.

I tried my case with the top fans blowing in as well... the gpu's did run cooler (but not drasticallaly) but at the cost of everything else heating up. Hell even the side panel was warm to the touch.

Heat rises so it makes sense to have the top fans blowing out IMHO. Blowing in is counter productive.

and its not like the gpu gets choked with no air flow. air is being pulled up and the gpu takes in some of that air since its running at a higher rpm than my two top fans.
i think that all the heat is down there because your exhaust fan isn't good enough to get rid of all the hot air especially when more hot air is generated than can be expelled

In regards to moving the fans around, it seems a few people have had success with making the front and back fans intake, and having it all exhaust out the top.

You could also mod the side panel and put 2 intake fans there (think 2 x 120mm covered by a Radiator grill and/or filters).

This is great footage of the hotspots in the Case. Now we can see that the heat is being exhausted out of the areas in the back including the open air vent next to the I/O shield plate. I can also see that the aluminum side panel is soaking up some of that heat as well. Great case and Great work on the Infrared Photography. Thanks a million.

Is the power supply support necessary. I plan on drilling a hole for the PSU fan, which will probably remove the support there.
