Maybe they changed them in the newer revision.

In the end I used the original two for my top blow hole and keep them at about 750rpm (mobo controls them) so they are virtually silent.

The other four (front, back and two for heatsink) are high speed Yate Loons that I have connected to a fan controller. They are at 5v 90% of the time unless I am gaming for hours then I turn them up.
I've got two high speed Scythe fans (one Gentle Typhoon, one S-Flex) connected to fan controllers for my intake/exhaust. But it seems like the stock LL 1200 RPM ball bearing fans are okay to use on the heatsink since the motherboard controls fan speed.

Yeah as long as your temps are fine then that's all that really matters.

ALSO, if you don't see yourself in the members list please post again so I can add you. I will go through this thread again looking for all members but its possible I could miss you and that's no fun

My C14 showed up today!

It was a tight fit with my Asus Rampage Formula. It covers the whole entire chipset and mosphets. The ends of the heat pipes are mere millimeters away from the fan grill on the rear intake fan. I can actually fit what ever height ram I want to in the outer(white) ram slots with it installed this way. It's just a shame my OCZ Reapers make my system unstable when installed with my Corsair sticks. The A05 makes this thing look huge and it is.

Up next now that I have some P14 fans is to start drawing up the top panel. I have had an ingenious idea for the left over mesh I hope to have. I will let you guys guess until I get the chance to fab it up.

wow that C-14 is massive!

How are the temps? What cooler did you have before?
I was running a Cooler Master Hyper N520 at first. Temps where in the mid 60's on load sometimes into the 70's. But what was really concerning me was my chipset was pushing 70C+ most of the time and was getting very little air flow. I picked up a H50 last week when Best Buy had them for $40. I did manage to get it to fit, I feel so dumb for my angry rant the first time I tried. But then my chip set was getting no air flow and pushed up to 80C and my system shut down from heat. Now I'm getting mid 50's to 60's on load mid 40's on idle but my chip set dropped to low 40's. And that's what I really cared about. These where stock settings keep in mind. I was waiting until I got a better psu that can support an OC'd quad and a better cooler. Now I'm going to crank it up and see if I can get to 3.5 at least. May try for 4.0 if it doesn't require too much work.

Right now the sides and top are off are off so it is getting tons of fresh air. I bet my temps are a little lower then what they are going to be when I get it all put back together. But I have come to the conclusion I will be adding an intake to the bottom of the case also. It kills just about all flow in my case.
