This is what I would to get a cpu folder up and running.
First it looks like I'm in for some cooler time next week as the temps are suppose to drop from the 110F+ down to around 100F.

I completely forgot about fahtracker.
I've used it and it works.
I've been prepping a non TC i7-970 to run in my summertime heat by downclocking it.
I wasn't going to start it up until after the sun goes down tonight but this was the perfect time to test fahtracker.
I already had
tracker on this computer so I didn't have to download it but that is the same link I used a long time ago.
I successfully set tracker up and downloaded a 6097 WU.
After I started fahtracker and it downloaded the clients this is how I set up the
Client Settings to pull the 6097, 6098 and 6099 WUs.

Next on the Tracker Settings tab you need to enter you username, TC passkey, team and EOC ID. I entered the passkey after grabbing that image.
Also notice this is where you can stop the current WU after it has finished. Fahtracker uses the -oneunit flag internally so you have to use this option.

This final image show the progress of my 6097 WU using fahtracker. There should be no reason why your 4 cores won't work the same as my 12. (as far as working that is)
