woo alternative DFI tweaker

since i cannot figure out the DFI bios for crap i found that the disk came with this alternate tool. ClockGen. i looked over this guide here

and im sure i can figure it out but first i have no clue whatsoever on what PFF or registers or anything. can anyone translate?

dude...the DFI bios is a snap...go to genie BIOS and theres ALL your options...voltages, FSB, multi, etc...and to get to ram timings just go to genie bios then DRAM settings...dont use clockgen =/.

Yeah, exactly as the man said. It's a shame to use clockgen on a DFI board, of all boards! That board was designed for overclocking. If you don't overclock it using the bios, all the other motherboards will make fun of it, and it'll cry. Do you want that? Have a heart.


Also, overclocking via bios is a lot more stable, and gives better results IMO.

Check out the DFI Street Forum for some bios advice. Either this information is posted if you take the time to search or if you ask you will receive some wonderful insight. Not very often I concur with metalkobra , but I do here, don't use clockgen. That is why you dished out all the extra dough to have all the bios options available to you.

but ive looked at every guide i can find and everything i do or try it just wont boot. i cant even put the FSB up 10 before i have to do the reset jumper thing
