There is a difference between simple, and incorrect and useless. But I guess that if your method wouldn't have been flawed, you would have given a better defense.

my g15 has kinda hard keys to press also , i can imagine a nickel wouldnt weigh the key down .. no way .

Dont be worried , mine is the same .. i have the 1st g15 though

my 6Gv2 takes 12 nickels to actuate but takes 16 nickels to fully depress.

I take this as another "I admit my method is flawed yet I can't admit it."
+- 10g is just too inaccurate to be useful.
I have a more simple method with the same accuracy: my index finger.

I dunno man, I have a G11, and it takes 13 nickels just like ripster said for his G15.

Anyways, does anyone have a Sidewinder X4 and mind seeing how much it takes to depress?

yep using nickel is pretty accurate for me with my 6Gv2 at 60g actuation. I used a tweezer to carefully place the nickels on my keys.
