Tell me how many nickels it takes to depress the keys on your keyboard! - Page 16

Other than the Logitech Wave it amazes me how consistent the results are for the Logitech rubber domes when you compile the results from this thread.

Conclusion?

RipOmeter>Theoretical Webwit Concerns

OP rulez!

What about the age of the keyboards? From my understanding, with wear and tear the rubber domes lose their "springy" feeling, meaning their physical characteristics are changed.

Just a thought, but maybe sampling different aged keyboards of the same brand would be a good idea as well.

I predict that anybody that buys a Logitech G series will get a 65(+/-5)g keyboard.

This is how Science works.

Which parts of the criticism of your method do you actually disagree with? Can you point them out to us and provide counter arguments?

By the way, your premise now is that if you have 25 people doing an inaccurate measurement, you get an accurate one? Har har.

I predict the actual actuation point will be below 65g. Can you tell me why? It's science, so the ripometer won't tell you. teaching.gif
